Tasting #22 - Luccio Moscato d'Asti

Name: Luccio
Variety: Moscato
Region: Piedmont DOCG
Country: Italy
Year: 2010
Price: $10

Wine Review: Luccio Moscato d’Asti is fresh, fragrant, and frizzante with bright, floral aromas that give way to flavors of ripe stone fruit, tangerines, and honey. This wine is concentrated and flavorful, but not overly rich or heavy; sweet, yet balanced.

My Review: Pale yellow in color. On the nose I got a chalky, stone smell with some subtle citrus notes. It was very sweet with a slightly citrus and honey taste and did not linger. I liked the wine but it was a little sweet. I rate this wine a 6 out of 10.

This wine was tasted without food.
