Tasting #23 - Umberto Fiore Moscato d'Asti

Name: Umberto Fiore
Variety: Moscato
Region: Piedmont DOCG
Country: Italy
Year: 2010
Price: $10

Wine Review: Extremely aromatic with mild sweetness and vibrant acidity. Semi-sparkling with a famously complex bouquet.

My Review: This wine had a light, pale yellow silvery color. I didn't get much on the nose except a little citrus. It's a very sweet wine. It poured pretty fizzy and definitely had a bubbly feel in my mouth. I got a hint of pineapple and citrus. The wine finished smooth with some lingering sweetness. I didn't love this wine although it was a good moscato. I'd rate it a 6 out of 10.

This wine was tasted without food.
