Wine Blog Review: The 2010 Pinetti Notte Rosé was wonderful with aromas of fresh strawberries and red raspberries. The flavor profile followed that of the aromas, with strawberries, red raspberries, and on the mid-palate the flavor of rhubarb was present which also brought a nice tartness to the wine.
My Review: The Pinetti Rosé is light and transparent red in color. On the nose I got cherry, strawberry, and raspberry aromas. The initial taste was sweet with hints of strawberries and it had a thin mouth feel. It was a little dry on the finish and a strange aftertaste that I did not like! I'd rate this wine a 3 out of 10
This wine was tasted without food.
